Bandsaws
Balfor bandsaws are designed for crosscutting and ripping logs into firewood, planks and sawn timber. The range includes standalone bandsaw units as well as combined models that integrate a conveyor and splitter into a single production line, reducing handling time and the number of separate machines needed on site.

Crosscut, Rip and Plank with One Machine
Unlike a circular saw bench that is limited to crosscutting, a bandsaw gives the flexibility to rip timber lengthways as well as cut to length. This makes a Balfor bandsaw useful for operators who want to produce planks, slabs or dimensional timber alongside standard firewood billets. The thin blade kerf also wastes less material per cut compared to a circular saw, which adds up over a full day of processing and means more usable timber from every log.
Standalone or Combined with Conveyor and Splitter
Balfor offers bandsaws as standalone cutting units for operators who already have separate splitting and conveying equipment, and as integrated systems that combine a bandsaw with a built-in conveyor and splitter. The combined units turn a single machine into a compact production line where timber is cut, split and conveyed away without the operator needing to move logs between stations. For smaller yards or operations where space is tight, that consolidation can make a significant difference to both workflow and footprint.
Italian-Made with a Five-Year Frame Warranty
Every Balfor bandsaw is manufactured in Italy, where the company has been building firewood machinery since 1979. As with the rest of the Balfor range, each bandsaw comes with a five-year frame warranty that reflects the build quality of the welded steel construction. Whether you are cutting a few loads a week or running a bandsaw as part of a larger processing setup, that level of manufacturer backing gives confidence the machine is built to handle sustained, regular use over the long term.
